MTD has named Aden Graves its new associate editor. Graves is a recent graduate of Kent State (Ohio) University’s award-winning School of Media and Journalism.

While at Kent State, Graves worked as an editor at The Kent Stater, the university’s newspaper, where he managed a team of reporters.

He also worked as a weather anchor at Kent State’s TV station, where he collaborated with the station’s broadcast team to produce weekly programs; served as The Kent Stater’s campus editor, leading a team of reporters; curated and coordinated daily social media posts to help drive audience engagement; and more.

This past summer, Graves completed an internship at the Chautauqua Institution in New York, where he served as a beat reporter, writing nearly 40 in-depth, feature articles in an eight-week span.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and another bachelor’s degree in communication studies.

"We are excited to welcome Aden to MTD and look forward to working with him,” says MTD Editor Mike Manges. “His background and expertise will enable us to continue to produce content that will help our readers move their businesses forward.
