Michelin North America Inc. is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A line by adding 12 sizes to the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3.

"Celebrating 50 years of the Radial All-Terrain T/A tire is a milestone that speaks to BFGoodrich’s legacy of extreme performance,” says Jamie Hershey, senior director of recreational brands, BFGoodrich Tires, Michelin. "The KO3 represents our endless pursuit of toughness, reliability and adventure, continuing the tradition that started five decades ago.”

"Building on the performance of the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tire, BFGoodrich developed the KO3 tire to satisfy the evolving needs of off-road consumers by incorporating the latest tire technologies into a tire that delivers even stronger performance and benefits than the KO2 tire: improved traction, treadwear and toughness," say Michelin officials.

"Specifically, the KO3 tire has 15% better wear performance, 20% better gravel road durability and improved snow traction compared with the KO2 tire, while maintaining its predecessor’s sidewall toughness and soft-soil traction. The KO3 tire carries a 50,000-mile warranty and 60-day satisfaction guarantee.

"As new sizes of the KO3 tire come to market, the corresponding size of the KO2 tire will be phased out."
