Bridgestone Posts 2025 Results
Bridgestone Corp. posted $19.3 billion in tire sales during 2025 and recorded $28.8 billion in overall sales during the year.
Overall sales results include the Tokyo, Japan-based company's diversified products business.
Bridgestone also posted total adjusted operating profit of $3.2 billion during 2025. Its tire business generated $2.4 billion in operating profit during 2025.
A regional look
In North America, Bridgestone achieved around $11.8 billion in revenue last year, 97% of what it recorded in 2024. However, the company's operating profit in North America grew by 1.5% on a year-over-year basis.
Bridgestone officials credit North American performance to the firm's multi-brand strategy, steady expansion of its solutions business and other factors.
Bridgestone's Europe region posted sales of around $4.7 billion, up several points from 2024 levels. The company's operating profit in Europe climbed 2.4% year-over-year.
Bridgestone's sales in its Asia-Pacific/India/China region amounted to nearly $3.4 billion, while its revenue in Latin America totaled around $2 billion during 2025.
Operating profit in Asia-Pacific/India/China increased by 5%, while operating profit in Latin America was basically flat versus 2024 levels.
Plans for 2026
Bridgestone intends to generate $29.3 billion in sales, as a total corporation, for full-year 2026.
In North America, "both revenue and profit are expected to grow through growth with quality, by enhancing" Bridgestone's consumer tire business, retail business and commercial business, plus the "benefits of process rebuilding," according to Bridgestone officials.
Bridgestone plans to keep a focus on premium, high-diameter passenger tires, among other efforts.
