Hunter Achieves SOC 2 Type 2 Certification for HunterNet 2 Platform

Hunter Engineering Co. has completed its SOC 2 Type 2 attestation and audit for the HunterNet 2 customer platform.  

The Service Organization Compliance (SOC) 2 Type 2 audit was conducted by an independent accounting and consulting firm, RubinBrown LLP. The firm evaluated Hunter’s controls over a defined period and confirmed the effectiveness of its security practices in alignment with American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Trust Services Criteria.

HunterNet 2 is a secure, cloud-enabled application that connects Hunter’s advanced automotive service equipment to dealership networks, enabling real-time diagnostics, reporting and system updates. The platform’s architecture is designed to meet the highest standards of data protection and uptime, with continuous monitoring and governance practices in place. 

Hunter plans to leverage the SOC 2 attestation as a foundation for future compliance initiatives, including additional platform validations for upcoming products.
