Nokian Adds Johnston to North American Team

Nokian Tyres Inc. has hired Dave Johnston to serve as portfolio, pricing and business planning director for North America. His tenure began on September 29. 

Johnston will lead Nokian Tyres’ product strategy in North America, serving as a liaison between customers and the company’s global product development process. His department also manages Nokian Tyres’ warranty claims processes and educates customers and consumers on the company’s winter, all-season and all-weather products. 

Johnston’s experience includes 25 years in sales and product leadership roles in the United States and Canada. He most recently worked as national director of major accounts at Mighty Auto Parts in the Atlanta, Ga. area.

“Dave’s deep experience and strong relationships in the tire industry will be an asset as we enhance our product strategy to meet our customers’ needs,” said Chris Ostrander, senior vice president of North America for Nokian Tyres.
