Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. will once again participate in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.

During the month of December, Goodyear will host toy donation drives at its blimp hangars in Pompano Beach, Fla.; Carson, Calif.; and Akron, Ohio.

"Now in its 16th year, the tradition gives community members a rare opportunity to step inside the iconic Goodyear Blimp hangars while helping make the holidays brighter for local children," say Goodyear officials. "Guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy, with donations benefiting Toys for Tots campaigns in each blimp base community.

"Over the past 16 years, toy drives at Goodyear Blimp bases have collected more than 300,000 toys and raised more than $875,000 for the Marine Toys for Tots Program, helping deliver holiday joy to children and families across the country."
