Ingersoll Rand Inc. has introduced its 20V tire buffer – the G4911 Cordless Tire Buffer.
The new tire buffer can perform up to 45 repairs on a single 2.5aH battery and features a two-speed selector for reaming and buffing that controls max RPM, in alignment with the U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association guidelines.
“Whether it’s quick work on passenger vehicles or tackling tough repairs on heavy equipment, the G4911 makes tire repair easy and reliable,” says Tyler Laubach, associate product manager, surface preparation and construction tools at Ingersoll Rand.
“And the patent-pending angled battery design provides greater tool accessibility inside small tires without the maneuverability restrictions of an air hose.”
According to Ingersoll Rand officials, the G4911 is up to 25% quieter than competitors, reducing shop noise and operator discomfort.
The new buffer is compatible with all Ingersoll Rand IQV20 batteries and includes a 20 lumen LED light and IPX6 rating to protect against water ingress.
