Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has selected Ryan Patterson to lead the integration of Goodyear and Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. On Feb. 22, it was announced that Goodyear intends to acquire Cooper for $2.5 billion during the second half of 2021.
Patterson most recently served as president of Goodyear's Asia-Pacific region. Prior to that, he served as president of the Akron, Ohio-based tiremaker's consumer tire business in North America.
“As one of Goodyear’s most senior leaders, Ryan Patterson has the depth and experience to lead the integration of our acquisition of Cooper Tire to
maximize benefits for our shareholders, customers, consumers and associates,” says Rich Kramer, Goodyear's chairman, CEO and president.
Nathaniel Madarang will replace Patterson as head of the company's Asia-Pacific business.
