Vipal Rubber continues to invest in manufacturing with the addition of a new, $20 million plant in Perez, Argentina.

The facility, Vipal's first manufacturing plant outside of Brazil, includes a distribution center. Tread rubber manufactured at the plant will be sold in Argentina and exported to select markets, including Mexico.

Leandro Rigon, Vipal's international business director, says the new facility will improve Vipal's ability "to serve the local market with more efficient logistics, in addition to using the platform for exports to neighboring markets with greater synergy."
