American Pacific Industries Inc. (API) has expanded its flagship Gladiator X Comp line with two key additions.
The new Gladiator X Comp X/T “will feature an aggressive, off-road tread design, still maintaining a performance orientation for highway use and off road applications,” according to API officials.
“The X Comp X/T also features a state-of-the-art, optimized tread pattern designed to reduce on-road noise."
Initially, the X Comp X/T will be offered in 17 sizes, ranging from 17 inches to 24 inches in diameter.
The Gladiator X Comp R/S designed for off-road enthusiasts and offers “an extremely lightweight option, with a strong and durable race compound."
The tire has been designed for UTV racers, based on feedback supplied by X Comp’s brand ambassadors and race teams. (It also is Department of Transportation-approved for highway driving.)
The Gladiator X Comp R/S will initially be offered in size 33x9.5R15.
Both new tires will be available at the end of 2020, according to API officials.
