Andreoli Software has released TireLink 2.0, or TL2, a new B-to-B e-commerce platform based on WordPress, which powers more than one-third of all websites worldwide, according to the company.
"TL2 responsively adjusts to run on smartphones, tablets and desktops to provide the best user experience possible," says Steve Brouillard, Andreoli's vice president of business development.
"And because it is tightly integrated with our point-of-sale system, accurate, real-time inventory availability and customer-specific pricing are always up-to-date."
Using WordPress, wholesale tire distributors can customize and maintain their homepages "without the traditional high cost of a dedicated website administrator," he adds.
Sean Plumstead, vice president of Tire Distributors of Georgia, a wholesale distributor, says his company's retail customers "tell us that TL2's ease of use and simple, 'drive-out-pricing' tool help them sell more tires. They also like the new TL2 order confirmation messages they immediately receive from our internal Andreoli Software billing system, HITS BPOS, when placing e-orders."
HITS BPOS is Andreoli's point of sale, billing and inventory management software, which integrates seamlessly with TL2.
While the new platform is intended for both single and multi-warehouse operations like Tire Distributors of Georgia, Andreoli officials state that it also can be configured for stocking retailers that receive local wholesale accounts.
Andreoli Software leveraged 25-plus years of experience to produce the next-generation system, "using field-proven user interface design, combined with new, cutting-edge capabilities," according to company officials.
Video demonstrations of both TL2 and HITS BPOS are available on Andreoli's website.
