Bridgestone Retail Operations recently donated $100,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Ohio to help children "bridge digital divides."
With this donation, the club will be able to provide enhanced internet access, equipment and other resources that it might not have been able to access otherwise.
"We know that when young people have basic access to technology in this increasingly digital world, they have a greater chance of success in school and beyond," says Robert Johnson, vice president of stores for Bridgestone Retail Operations.
