The calendar, available for sale from Pep Boys, includes consumer coupons and discounts for services. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Bob Woodruff Foundation, which partners with other groups to support programs that meet the needs of today's veterans and their families.

Like many other businesses in the automotive market, Pep Boys is continually seeking candidates, and veterans possess many of the in-demand skills. The company says with its network of nearly 1,000 stores it can also meet the demands of active-duty military families who relocate frequently.
