Kenda Tires and its Middle East partner Varga Trading Co. LLC announced at Automechanika Dubai the Middle East debut of the new Kenda KR-50 crossover-utility vehicle (CUV) tire. Automechanika Dubai takes place June 3-5, 2014.
The companies say the KR 50 will be positioned as a fuel-efficient tire for CUVs with special features like extreme siping and four wide circumferential grooves that will improve braking performance.
“We have a longstanding association with Kenda,” says Alireza Moaref, the managing director of Varga Trading.
“It is a matter of great pride for us to be part of this ongoing growth story, especially in a market like the Middle East where there is immense potential for expansion.”
