The hotel registration deadline for the 2014 Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS) in Rosemont, Ill., has been extended until Friday, April 25. GAAS will take place on May 20- 21.
GAAS attendees can take advantage of the discounted group hotel rate of $179 online or by calling 888-421-1442.
GAAS organizers are also warning attendees about potential fraud associated with the event. “It has come to our attention that an unauthorized company, representing itself as being part of GAAS, has contacted some of our attendees to offer them hotel reservations,” says GAAS chairman Denny Welvaert.
“If you receive a call like this, it is a scam and you should hang up on the caller. Reservations should only be made via our online hotel reservation link or by calling the hotel directly and referencing the ‘Global Symposium.’”
