The Tire Industry Association’s (TIA) fifth week of free Automotive Tire Service (ATS) webinars will focus on the topic of tire repair. The sessions will take place three times daily, June 16-18.

TIA is presenting six consecutive weeks of free online video-conference webinars. Each course focuses on different aspects of passenger and light truck tire service.
The tire repair webinar will cover general tire repair guidelines for passenger and light truck tires, plus step-by-step procedures for installing one-piece repair units.
“There is a big difference between stopping a leak and repairing a tire,” says Kevin Rohlwing, TIA senior vice president of training. “Knowing that difference could be a matter of life or death for the motorist or help to avoid a crippling lawsuit resulting from an improper repair.”
The 30-minute webinars will take place each day at 10 a.m., 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. EDT. A TIA staff instructor will be available for additional questions after class.
