Bridgestone Americas Inc. has expanded its lineup of Firestone brand medium truck tires with the introduction of the Firestone FD692. The SmartWay-verified tire features 400% more biting edges than its predecessor and has earned 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake certification.
Other features include a high-rigidity tread pattern to control tread block movement for even wear and reduced rolling resistance; a proprietary sidewall technology and design to limit heat loss, enhance fuel economy and reduce overall tire weight without sacrificing durability; a stone rejector platform to boost the retreadability of its casing; and more.
