Continental to Offer Free TPMS Training

May 8, 2020

Continental is offering a free, webinar-based tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) training series conducted by Tire Industry Association (TIA)-certified technical training specialists.

The series, titled TPMS – 2020 Vision, will focus on TPMS tools and functions, service techniques, the benefits of OE-manufactured replacement sensors, relearn procedures and other topics.

Continental manufactures and supplies VDO REDI-Sensor Multi-Application TPMS sensors.

Training will be held on the following dates: May 12 and May 13, plus May 27 and May 28. Each session will last one hour and will start at 1 p.m. EST.

Sean Lannoo, Continental sales technical training supervisor, and Allen Selzler and Denzel Lall, Continental sales technical training specialists, will serve as instructors.

Registration for TPMS - 2020 Vision can be completed by visiting https://www.redi-sensor.com/trainingcentral/.

There are a limited number of seats available for sessions, and registration closes 48 hours before the first day of each session.

“Although we cannot conduct our TPMS training sessions in-person due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Continental is committed to educating aftermarket professionals on these essential safety systems,” says Lannoo.

“TPMS technology is constantly evolving and TPMS services have become much more complex than a simple dash warning. This webinar series will allow us to expand our reach to a wider range of shops and parts counters, so we keep our professional customers up to date and well informed about the latest changes and best practices regarding TPMS service.”
