Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd.'s board of directors promoted Tadanobu Nagumo and Hikomitsu Noji at its meeting on April 27, 2011.
The board "informally" announced the following changes:
* Nagumo, president and representative director, was named chairman, CEO and representative director.
* Noji, director and senior managing corporate officer, will become president and representative director. He will remain president of the Tire Group.
The changes are subject to the decision of the board following the appointment of the new board directors at the ordinary general meeting of shareholders scheduled to be held on June 29, 2011.
