The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has added an additional tour date in Houston to its 2013 Certified Automotive Training Service (ATS) Instructor Training Tour.
The latest tour spot will take place Nov. 12-15, 2013 and the Houston, San Jacinto College Central, 3501 Luella Blvd., C26 Transportation Center, La Porte, Texas 77571.
Confirmed dates for the tour now include:
March 5-8 - Ghent, W.V.
March 19-22 – Phoenix
March 26-29 - Charlotte, N.C.
April 30-May 3 - Los Angeles
May 7-10 – Boston
May 21-24 - Toledo, Ohio
July 9-11 - Seattle
Nov. 12-15 - Jacksonville, Fla.

The Certified ATS Instructor Program is a four-day, in-depth and hands-on class that industry professionals must complete in order to return to the dealership(s) to train technicians to prepare them for certification. TIA has used the train-the-trainer approach to train and/or certify more than 70,000 technicians since 1997.
