"Any publicity is good publicity" goes the old maxim. Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. generated a lot of publicity for one of its new tires with a recently staged event.
"Goodyear filmed the (event) and quickly edited a video package that was distributed via several on-site satellite trucks," Manges writes. "The video was picked up by NBC's Today Show, ESPN's Sports Center, CNN Headline News and other programs."
