Monro Muffler Brake Inc. has finalized its purchase of 75 ProCare Automotive Service Solutions LLC locations for $14.6 million.
"We are pleased to have ProCare become part of the Monro family, which currently includes 544 Monro Muffler Brake, 53 Mr. Tire and 28 Tread Quarters Discount Tires locations," says Monro CEO and President Robert Gross.
Monro plans to honor all ProCare and competitor warranties and will incorporate "all active ProCare store employees into its team."
Earlier this week, it was announced that Monro had received approval from the United States Bankruptcy Court to acquire substantially all of the assets of ProCare, which had declared Chapter 11.
ProCare is based in Independence, Ohio.
