Three senior managers at Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. will enter the new year with changes in their responsibilities.
The changes were announced following Yokohama's board of directors meeting on Dec. 27, 2012. They will become effective as of Jan. 1, 2013.
Here are the three members of the senior management team with their responsibilities for 2013 (and their 2012 titles in parentheses).
1. Kinya Kawakami, director and managing corporate officer, general manager of the Corporate Social Responsibility Division, general manager of the R&D Center, general manager of the Hiratsuka, Japan, factory (director and managing corporate officer, general manager of the Corporate Social Responsibility Division., general manager of the R&D Center).
2. Sinichi Suzuki, managing corporate officer, president of Yokohama R.P.Z. LLC (managing corporate officer, general manager of the Russia Tire Plant Division, president of Yokohama R.P.Z. LLC).
3. Toshiyuki Nishida, corporate officer, deputy general manager of the Industrial Products Business Group, general manager of the Industrial Products Technical Division (corporate officer, deputy general manager of the Industrial Products Business Group, general manager of the Industrial Products Technical Division, and general manager of the Hiratsuka manufacturing plant).
The board of directors also tweaked the responsibilities of some of Yokohama's senior managers at last year's meeting.
