The wholesale division of Flynn's Tire Group recently opened a 50,000-square-foot warehouse and office complex in Solon, Ohio. The new, larger distribution center replaces a facility in Brecksville, Ohio.
The Solon warehouse has more than twice the inventory space of the previous location. Kris Zukas is the manager.
"We now have more inventory, better organization and increased routes, along with dedicated outside salespeople," says Shaun Fitzgerald, general manager of Flynn's Tire Wholesale. Flynn's is a:
* Goodyear wholesale distributor,
* Yokohama Advantage distributor,
* Nexen Nitro distributor and
* Sumitomo Select distributor.
"This is a great opportunity for us to expand our services and tire selection to better serve our growing customer base," says Joe Flynn III, president of Flynn's Tire Group. "We had searched for the ideal property for over four years, and we feel that this new location is everything we wanted -- and it will serve our needs well into the future."
Flynn's operates four tire warehouses located in Pennsylvania and Ohio. They supply a full range of tires to various tire outlets, automotive repair shops and car dealerships within the region. There are also 18 Flynn's Tire & Auto Service retail stores located in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio; five commercial tire service centers; and one retread plant.
