The latest Conrad's Tire Express & Total Car Care outlet opened recently in Northeast Ohio. That gives one of the largest tire dealerships in the United States 33 stores, and bumps him up one spot on the Modern Tire Dealer 100 list.
That's 33 stores in 43 years, all under the supervision of founder Ed Conrad. At 81, Ed still oversees the company as chairman.
Conrad was at the latest grand opening in Uniontown, Ohio (part of the City of Green), with CEO and President John Turk. So was MTD Editor Bob Ulrich, who wrote about the experience in his latest blog.
