S&S Tire has acquired Simms Wholesale Tire, a wholesale tire distributor in Louisville, Ky.
This most recent acquisition will expand S&S Tire’s wholesale operation to 10 distribution centers across the Southeastern United States.
“The acquisition of Simms Wholesale Tire was a strategic opportunity for us,” says Brooks Swentzel, president of S&S Tire. “It will enable us to grow our business in the Louisville metro area with excellent service levels that would be more challenging to achieve from our facility in Lexington.”
“We are a company that focuses on maintaining great relationships with our dealers,” says Brian Quisenberry, S&S marketing director. “Our immediate priority will be to make sure that Simms customers have a seamless transition and are welcomed into the S&S Tire family, where they will enjoy our full lineup of products and programs designed to support their business efforts.”
Prior to the acquisition of Simms Wholesale Tire, S&S Tire’s most recent wholesale expansions have been in Van Buren, Ark. and Mobile, Ala.
