Bartec USA LLC has introduced Revive Turbo Cleaner, which uses a patented chemical process to clean a turbocharger without disassembling the turbo itself.
The patented chemical process strips carbon and soot build up from inside the turbo as well as the engine, reviving the vehicle’s performance and potentially saving money, according to the company.
Revive comes in two application kits, the single application for engine displacements smaller than 5 liter, and the Big-T Kit for large displacement engines typically found in turbo diesel pickup trucks.
Revive Turbo Cleaner is one example of how Bartec is expanding its product line. The company says its strategy is to add complementary service related products to its existing line of tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) tools and accessories.
