Fisker Inc. has selected Bridgestone to supply tires for its all-electric Ocean SUV. Bridgestone will supply the Potenza Sport tire featuring its ENLITEN technology for summer performance and the Alenza Sport tire for all-season use.
Fisker will begin production of the Ocean in November 2022.
The Alenza Sport contains a next-generation compound for enhanced braking, wet handling and improved rolling resistance.
The Potenza Sport's built-in ENLITEN technology "reduces the rolling resistance of a tire by up to 30% and its weight by up to 20%," according to Fisker officials.
