Hankook Tire has announced to be the exclusive tire partner for the Touring Car Racing Series ADAC TCR Germany with a three-year contract, and Italian Touring Car Championship (under TCR International Series) across the next two years, respectively.
Hankook Tire again proves its world-class performance and technology leadership by expanding its global motor racing portfolio.
Hankook Tire exclusively supplies its Ventus Race tire specialized in car racing with the size of 260/660 R18 all-round to both ADAC TCR Germany & Italian Touring Car Championship. Racing vehicles in both tournaments will be 4-door and front wheel-drive racing cars with 2.0 litre 4-cylinder turbo engines powered by 330hp from marques.
ADAC TCR Germany starting in April, will run with two events scheduled to be held outside Germany; The second Oschersleben round will support the International Series along with ADAC Formula 4, while the rest of the rounds will be part of the ADAC GT Masters weekends. The main race is 30 minutes each. The Italian Touring Car Championship, starting from May, consists of total seven racing weekends. All events are scheduled to be held in Italy each with two races at 25 minutes plus one additional lap per race.
Adding the two races in the company’s motorsport portfolio, Hankook Tire illustrates to consistently expand its global motor racing commitment, including the exclusive equipment rights to the DTM, FIA Formula 3 European Championship, 24 H Series, and the Audi Sport TT Cup.

The TCR series is composed of three categories, the International Series, Regional Championships/Series, and National Championships/Series. Hankook Tire has made a contract to exclusively supply to the National Championships/Series of the ADAC TCR Germany, and the Italian Touring Car Championship.
