Tire: Goodyear Eagle Intermediate Radials
Set limits: Sprint Cup: 5 sets for practice and qualifying and 9 sets for the race
                  Xfinity: 7 sets for the event
 
Notes: NASCAR Sprint Cup and Xfinity Series teams will run the same combination of left- and right-side tires at Phoenix this weekend. Compared to what was run at Phoenix last season, both left- and right-side tires feature the same constructions with different compounds to give the cars more grip.

Goodyear held a tire test at Phoenix last October 12-13, which included work on the 2016 rules package, drivers participating in that test were A.J. Allmendinger, Kurt Busch, Matt Kenseth and Brad Keselowski.

As on most NASCAR ovals one mile or less in length, teams will not run liners in their tires at Phoenix.
