Cooper will pay 154th consecutive dividend

Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. announced a second-quarter dividend of 10.5 cents per share on common stock. The dividend is payable Sept. 30, 2010, to stockholders of record at the close of business Sept. 2, 2010.

The company has declared a dividend for 154 consecutive quarters.

Cooper Tire's share price on the New York Stock Exchange on June 30, 2010 -- the end of its fiscal second quarter -- was at $19.50. That compares to $9.92 per share one year earlier.

The company posted net income of $12 million on net sales of $754 million for the first quarter of 2010. It will announce its second-quarter 2010 financial results on Thursday, Aug. 5. For more information, visit
