Continental AG will co-sponsor champion German soccer club FC Bayern Munich in an agreement that runs through 2015.
"This adds a further component to our international football strategy," say Continental officials. "Hooking up with Germany's most successful football club and one of the best known around the world boosts the image of the premium Continental brand."
Continental sponsored the 2010 World Cup, held earlier this summer in South Africa.
