BATO wins marketing award from Hasbro

Toy manufacturer Hasbro has given Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations LLC (BATO) its 2009 Spud Award for Outstanding Marketing Partner of the Year.

Hasbro, which holds the creative and licensing agreements for the Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head toys, worked with BATO to debut "the famous potato pair" in one of the tiremaker's 2009 Super Bowl TV spots, say Bridgestone officials.

BATO will showcase two new commercials at this Sunday's Super Bowl.
