Atlantic Tire & Service applauds achievement

Atlantic Tire & Service, with locations in Cary, Durham and Raleigh, N.C., reports Michael Scheetz has been certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) as an Automobile Service Consultant.

The Automobile Service Consultant program was established to improve the quality of vehicle service through the voluntary testing and certification of service consultant professionals. To become ASE certified, service consultants must pass a comprehensive Service Consultant exam and show proof of two years of on-the-job work experience as a service consultant, the company says.

The Service Consultant exam is comprised of 60 multiple-choice questions devised by a cross-section of industry experts familiar with the vehicle service industry. The questions are entirely job-related and are designed to test the skills that service consultants need to know in order to be effective in their profession. ASE reports that there are only 15,681 certified Automobile Service Consultants nationwide.

Atlantic Tire & Service says its highly trained staff includes a number of ASE Certified Master Technicians and Tire Industry Association (TIA) Certified Tire Technicians. The organization has earned numerous local and national awards.
