Pre-Q Promotes Retreading at School Bus Event
Pre-Q Galgo Corp. promoted the benefits of retreading at the recent Tennessee Association of Pupil Transportation conference.
The event took place on June 6 in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
"This year's show far exceeded our expectations and we were met with many questions about retreading," says Ron Elliott, Pre-Q Galgo's marketing manager.
"We crave questions about retreading and always look forward to busting the many myths surrounding them. We informed (event attendees) that retreads are a manufactured product and like with any product, quality in equals quality out.
"Our retreaders use Pre-Q premium tread rubber and adhere to high standards or specifications for the retreads they produce.
"Several attendees told us they only purchase new tires because they don't think retreads are safe," continues Elliott. "During those moments, we became ambassadors for the entire retread industry and we responded that if retreads aren't safe, then why are they running on airplanes, school buses, ambulances, fire trucks, large and small fleets, USPS, parcel trucks and many other critical applications, as well as Air Force One?"
