SEMA Show: Hamaton Expands Heavy-Duty Line-Up

Hamaton Inc. is showcasing its latest Heavy-Duty TPMS product line-up at this week's SEMA Show.

The products, according to Hamaton officials, are designed to "deliver durability, flexibility and advanced diagnostic capabilities for commercial vehicles, trailers and mixed fleets."

The expanded offering includes the VT Truck 2.0 Tool, the HD Band-Mounted Sensor and the HD Valve-Mounted Sensor - "a powerful combination engineered to simplify TPMS maintenance, improve reliability and reduce downtime for heavy-duty applications."

The Hamaton VT Truck 2.0 Tool "provides a powerful, user-friendly interface for TPMS maintenance and programming." Designed for heavy-duty trucks, buses and trailers, the tool features an all-in-one display that shows complete TPMS information on a single screen. It can read sensors "with ease" and quickly activate sensors, "even in twin-wheels set-ups."

The tool also can manage up to 22 vehicles at a time, provides regular database updates and offers "wide compatibility," programming Hamaton's U-Pro Truck sensors and "multiple other aftermarket sensors," according to Hamaton officials.

Also new is the HD Band-Mounted Sensor, which Hamaton says "delivers a reliable and cost-effective TPMS solution for one-piece, 17.5-inch to 24.5-inch wheels." Key features include a universal fit strap, which is "ideal for trailers and mixed fleets" and installs without the need for valve access; an adjustable, durable brand with high tensile strengh to provide easy installation and integration with "standard tire service procedures;" the presence of a "cutting-edge battery" and the latest NXP chip; and more.

The HD Valve-Mounted Sensor "provides maximum compatibility and longevity for a range of wheel types and profiles," according to Hamaton officials. Offering wide compatibility, it "works with North American trucks, trailers and buses, plus both OE and aftermarket TPMS valves," and offers other features.
