Continental Names OE Director, Truck Tires

Torben Tiersch has been named director of original equipment (OE), truck tires, Americas, for Continental.

His appointment marks "a significant step in the company’s continued commitment to strengthening its OE partnerships and technical leadership across North and South America," say Continental officials.

"Torben transitions into the role after serving as OE key account manager for Ford, Isuzu and Hino, where he held responsibility for sales, account quality management and engineering coordination.

"His deep technical expertise, combined with over two decades of global experience in the tire industry, positions him to lead Continental’s OE truck and trailer business in the Americas with a strong strategic vision."
