Titan International LLC has rolled out two new Goodyear brand tires, the Softrac Pro and the Softrac Smooth, for power equipment use.

"These lines were designed to work together as front and rear fitments and they deliver an elevated performance for a variety of landscaping equipment, including commercial and residential zero-turn mowers," say Titan officials.

"These product introductions follow Titan’s recent expansion of Goodyear licensing rights into additional product segments, announced last year."

The Goodyear Softrac Pro was engineered "with a forward-thinking tread
profile and a refined contour that works with the landscape rather
than against it - providing a smoother ride, improved stability on slopes and a
level of turf protection that elevates everyday performance."

Features include a proprietary, ozone-resistant tread compound extends tire life; a "meticulously engineered tread pattern" that reduces turf damage and enhances traction; amulti-angle lug pattern for enhanced traction on hillsides and in various conditions; and tire contour iesigned to provide even wear and improve ride.

Current sizes range from 20x10.00-8NHS to 26x12.00-12NHS, "including the most popular rear fitments for commercial and residential zero-turn mowers. Additional sizes are forthcoming and will also be tailored to front engine riders, as well as compact tractors, ensuring broad compatibility across a variety of equipment," say Titan officials.

The Goodyear Softrac Smooth is built "to deliver precise handling and clean cutting lines under heavy, repeated workloads" and is available in sizes
11x4.00-5, 13x5.00-6, 13x6.50-6, "covering key front wheel mower fitments
fitments and ensuring dependable performance.

"The Softrac Pro and Softrac Smooth lines have been vigorously tested by several OEMs, reinforcing Titan’s commitment to building application-focused solutions that enhance equipment performance in real field conditions. Working together as front and rear fitments, both lines go hand-in-hand to support a full range of commercial mower configurations, including zero-turn,
stand-on and low-profile applications."
