Titan International Inc. is introducing the new ITP CrossTrax tire, "engineered to improve UTV performance in demanding farm applications."
As UTVs continue to be used on farms for tasks such as hauling feed, fencing, spray equipment and supplies across fields, gravel lanes and hard-packed access roads, "dealers and farmers report frequent flats caused by crop stubble and debris, along with accelerated wear from constant mixed-terrain use."
CrossTrax was engineered in direct response to increasing demands for agricultural use, and the new tire is designed to improve durability and ride stability in farm applications, say Titan officials.
The ITP CrossTrax tire line is available in nine sizes ranging from 25x8R-12 to 30x10R-14, with three additional sizes coming soon, covering key fitments across popular farm UTV platforms such as Polaris Ranger, Kawasaki Mule and John Deere Gator models.
CrossTrax is "designed to reduce punctures, improve ride stability and extend tire life," as well as increase operator confidence and minimize downtime. Top features of the new tire include optimized puncture resistance, improved stability across mixed terrain and extended tread life and ride comfort.
“CrossTrax reflects who Titan is, a tire manufacturer with boots on the ground, staying close to our dealers and customers,” says Todd Hinson, powersports product manager for the Titan Specialty Division. “We spend a lot of time understanding how equipment is actually being used on farms and building solutions around those needs. That approach has always shaped how we innovate, and it will continue guiding us moving forward.”
