Bauer Built Acquires Jack's Tire

Durand, Wis.-based Bauer Built Inc. has acquired Jack's Tire and Service, a Beloit, Wis.-based dealership with two locations.
Jack's Tire and Service, which was founded in 1982, has stores in South Beloit and Madison, Wis., and "has built a strong reputation for quality tire and automotive service," according to Bauer Built officials.
“This acquisition is a strategic step in our continued growth and commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our commercial and fleet customers,” says Bauer Built President Tad Bauer.
"We are excited to welcome the Jack’s Tire team and customers into the Bauer Built family and to expand our capabilities in service support, emergency road service and enhanced delivery options.”
The new locations will offer the full range of services available across Bauer Built’s network, including in-store and on-site services, alignments, fleet maintenance, wheel refinishing, mounted wheel programs and other value-added services. Customers will have access to Michelin retreaded truck tires, as well as new tires under the Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, General and Continental brands, plus others.
With the addition of the Jack’s Tire and Service's locations, Bauer Built now operates 51 outlets, five Michelin Retread Technology plants and a pair of wheel refinishing locations.
