Bauer Built Inc. has completed the 6,000-square-foot expansion of its tire and service center in Fremont, Neb.
Tad Bauer, president of the seventh-largest independent commercial tire dealer in the country, said, “Across Nebraska, Bauer Built Tire & Service has seven commercial tire centers and the expansion at our Fremont facility enhances our capabilities to better service our customers."
The Fremont Bauer Built Tire & Service center now offers commercial mechanical repairs for trucking fleets — services such as alignments, brake and wheel end repairs — plus expanded storage for commercial truck and farm tires that are essential to customers in the Fremont market.
“Adding 6,000 square foot to the existing service center provided us the ability to add two additional drive-in commercial bays, a commercial alignment pit, an above-ground hoist for light truck repair services, three loading docks, and a fully paved concrete parking lot,” said Wade Brantner, director of property.
The facility, located at 2547 W 23rd Drive, will continue to offer truck tires from Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, Continental, General and Galaxy, and now Cooper. The location also offers Michelin retreads, plus 24/7 emergency truck and farm tire service, commercial wheel refinishing and mounted wheel services for fleet customers.
Bauer Built, based in Wisconsin, was founded in 1944 and has 35 Tire and Service Centers, plus a wholesale division, two distribution centers, six Michelin retread plants, and two wheel-refinishing operations in nine Midwestern states.
