Maxam Tire has expanded its solid skid steer tire lineup with the introduction of the MS705 NM, a non-marking version of the company’s existing MS705 tire.

The MS705 NM is designed for skid steers and other construction equipment operating indoors or on finished and sensitive surfaces where traditional tire compounds could leave marks, according to Maxam officials.

The tire combines a solid construction with a non-marking tread compound, giving operators an option for applications where both durability and surface protection are priorities.

Its solid construction eliminates flats caused by punctures and sidewall damage and also removes the need for routine air pressure checks. Maxam says those features are designed to help reduce maintenance requirements in demanding skid steer applications.

The MS705 NM features a three-stage, 100% rubber construction. An aperture sidewall is engineered to provide a softer ride, while internal steel ring reinforcement is designed to help eliminate wheel slip.

Maxam also incorporates a heat-resistant cushion center compound into the tire to support durability during demanding operating conditions.

The company says the addition of the MS705 NM expands the range of options available to customers looking to match skid steer tires to specific jobsite conditions, particularly in warehouses, indoor construction environments and other applications where preventing tire marks is important.
