"Whether signing contracts or examining pending legislation, it certainly pays to read the fine print, especially if you happen to be a retreader in the State of Georgia," writes MTD Senior Editor Mike Manges in the latest installment of his Tire Talk with Mike blog.

The "fine print" he's referring to is a statement buried inside Georgia House Bill 981 that would prohibit the use of retreads on state emergency response vehicles.

"Such a ban will not only cost retreaders income," he writes. "From a public perception standpoint, it's another black mark for the retread industry."
