Titan International Inc. says it is extending "production rights" for the Goodyear brand across several new tire segments.
The Goodyear brand will appear on Titan-made ATV, lawn and garden and construction/industrial tires.
Titan also has renewed its licensing rights for Titan-manufactured ag tires.
Company officials say the move "reinforces Titan's dedication to enhancing its product portfolio and meeting the diverse needs of its customers."
"Our research and product development teams are already working on new tire designs incorporating innovative technologies for the lawn and garden segment," notes Titan President and CEO Paul Reitz.
Titan acquired Goodyear's ag tire division for $100 million in December 2005.
The deal included Goodyear's ag tire plant in Freeport, Ill., and gave Titan exclusive rights to build, market and sell Goodyear brand ag tires throughout North America.
