Thomas Beroth Jr., who owned and operated King, N.C.-based Stokes Tire & Automotive for more than four decades, recently died at the age of 65.
"He was an excellent businessman who was known for running a tight ship," according to his obituary.
Preceded by his mother, Elizabeth Ellen Palmer Beroth, and brother-in-law, Earlier Gaston Gilley Jr., Beroth is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda; several children and grandchildren; his father, Thomas Beroth Sr.; sister, Tammy Beroth Gilley; and other relatives.
A funeral service was held on July 13.
