Hankook Tests iON Race at Formula E

As the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship kicks off its 12th season in São Paulo, Hankook Tire and Technology will again put its iON Race EV tire technology to the test on the racetrack.

Hankook, the official tire partner of Formula E, is featuring the iON Race, a tire with predictable warm-up behavior and a balanced grip profile, which boosts performance and reliability on a fast track. 

The championship will be at the renowned Anhembi Sambadrome, with high-speed grip transitions, technical braking zones and unpredictable weather.

Hankook’s Formula E partnership will enhance its global EV tire development, providing insights into temperature control, rolling resistance and footprint stability.
