Falken Tire opened the 2026 Optima Ultimate Street Car Association season at Round 1 at G2 Motorsports Park, "earning three class victories across a competitive field."

Competing on the 3.1-mile circuit alongside autocross and Peak Performance Challenge segments, Falken-supported drivers "demonstrated the consistency, grip and predictability of the Azenis RT660+ across a wide range of vehicle platforms and conditions."

David Carroll delivered a standout performance in the GTT class, piloting his 750-horsepower Blazer to the top step of the podium.

"Running optimized tire pressures between 33–34 PSI front and 31–32 PSI rear, Carroll noted strong front-end grip and balance throughout the event," say Falken officials. "Despite heat buildup over longer sessions, the package remained competitive, securing the class win."

Making its debut, Bob Sobey’s Outlaw-spec Nissan GTR captured a P1 finish in a highly competitive class. "The result highlights the RT660+’s ability to perform under evolving conditions while supporting aggressive driving across multiple segments."

Brandon Hurst completed the sweep of victories with a P1 finish in the GTS class, showcasing Falken performance on an electric platform with the Tesla Plaid.

The Falken RT660+ leveraged in races throughout the weekend, offered drivers "consistent grip, predictable handling and strong heat management across multiple disciplines. From autocross and speed stop to full road course sessions, the tire maintained performance under load, allowing drivers to push with confidence lap after lap," according to officials.

"The Falken Tires RT660+ continues to prove that when it’s time to deliver grip, response and confidence at the limit, it shows up every single run," says Gerald Alvarado, supervisor of motorsports for Falken.

With three class wins to open the season, Falken drivers seek to carry strong momentum into Round 2 of the Optima Street Car Challenge, set to take place at NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, Louisiana, April 10-12.
