American Kenda Rubber Co. Ltd. finished in first place at the Long Beach Grand Prix Circuit on April 5.
Driver, Frederic Aasb, driving for Papadakis Racing, raced his Toyota GR Supra on Kenda Vezda UHP Max+ tires.
“Winning Long Beach is never easy, and this year’s field was incredibly competitive,” says Aasbo.
“The new Kenda Vezda UHP Max+ gave me the edge I needed—from qualifying to the final battle. The grip, the feedback, the predictability—it was exactly what I needed to execute at the highest level. Big thanks to Kenda and Papadakis Racing for their support.”
The Vezda UHP Max+ was reformulated in 2025 and features a high silica compound for grip and heat cycling, an asymmetrical tread pattern for lateral stability and steering response and a reinforced internal structure for durability and consistency.
“Our entire 2025 Kenda Motorsports team performed at an exceptional level in Long Beach,” says Brandon Stotsenburg, vice president of automotive at Kenda Tires.
“Fredric’s win was huge, but every one of our sponsored drivers represented the brand with skill, professionalism, and passion. It’s an exciting start to what we believe will be Kenda’s strongest season yet.”
The Vezda UHP Max+ is now available to consumers through Kenda’s dealer network and is designed for enthusiasts who demand track-bred performance in a street-legal package.
