American Kenda Rubber Industrial Co. Ltd. celebrated its continued partnership of over 10 years with the Cleveland Cavaliers with a pep rally at the company’s American Technical Center in Akron, Ohio.
In anticipation of the NBA playoff game on April 18 – where the Cavs beat the Toronto Raptors – members of Kenda’s research and engineering teams posed for pictures with the Cavaliers’ mascot, Sir CC, and Ahmaad Crump, the team’s lineup announcer.
With the tire company’s recent partnership, Kenda has been the named sponsor of the in-season NBA tournament this year for the Cavs Cup, and as the sponsor of the first playoff game, Kenda presented the “rally towel.”

“We believe the Cavaliers' partnership brings a great value for sending the message about our brand,” said Brandon Stotsenburg, vice president of the company’s automotive division. “As a premium-performance and value-priced brand, we’re in the marketplace in northeastern Ohio and within the Cavs community, which really goes globally.”
Since serving as the team’s tire sponsor 10 years ago when the Cavs won the 2016 NBA championship, Stotsenburg said Kenda will continue seeking new ways to amplify its enthusiast-focused tire brand across its partnerships and marketing efforts.
