TBC Corp. offered medical staffers at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. a cool, sweet treat as a way to say thanks for their ongoing work to combat COVID-19 in South Florida.
More than 190 of the hospital's employees, including doctors, nurses, therapists and administrative staff enjoyed snow cones from Kona Ice on Aug. 12. The company also shared information about special discounts for front-line workers that are available at all of TBC's 190 Tire Kingdom locations.
“We are so grateful for all of the support we have received from our community," said Heather Havericak, CEO of Broward Health Medical Center. "The Kona Ice truck certainly lifted spirits and brought a lot of smiles to our team. These amazingly generous acts of kindness are so appreciated."
